You have a right to think that this is a privileged family’s vacation gone wrong and how every Thai person in the film is overly nice to them because of their status. As someone who lived in Thailand, I can see the local’s kindness as something far from fiction. This is an accurate rendition of the Thai people, not Hollywood’s sensationalized attempt to pull at your heart strings.

It’s a tragic disaster that puts you into its belly and shows you the heart-breaking example of displacement in a time of numbing chaos.

Roland Emmerich's obsession with movies that ruin the past and the future is starting to make me think he's some type of man-child. Any chance he gets to lie to us or blow us up, he's all over it. In all honesty, this wasn't as bad (compared to his other films) but that doesn't mean you should watch it either. Let me rephrase that. Don't watch this.

I don’t mind sappy movies that tug at the heart strings but this one yanks the hell out of them and drags you through a field of bullshit for two and a half hours. The only thing this movie does is give cinematographer’s an erection. Once I saw past all the manipulative tripe, I can sincerely say that I hate this movie.

Some characters spend very little time with Joey the horse, while others don’t even come near him and yet they’re willing to risk their lives for him. All Joey does is run around and occasionally freak out. He never saved anyone’s life nor has he done anything miraculous. Yet, wherever he goes, people illogically make a path for him like he’s a trotting god. It’s not Joey’s fault, I’m baffled as to why all these hungry, tired, and scared people living and fighting in WWI could go out of their way to help a horse for no reason at all.

This movie scores high reviews but not here. In terms of film making, it is good. Here's where I start to get uneasy. This is about the final days of Hitler, his inner circle, his Nazis, and it crosses the line of trying to create sympathy for them as the end closes in. I know this movie isn't a pro-Nazi, but how in the hell can I ever feel any sympathy for them, like the film was asking for. This made me uncomfortable.

You never see Hitler's corpse but you do see gore on other, lower-ranked soldiers. This tells me that they're trying to keep his character sacred by not defacing him. Fuck that, deface Hitler! Might I add, I had to deal with all this for 2:30 hours. In conclusion, the film is done well but the presentation is questionable.

This isn't a fun shoot-em-up type of movie (if you're expecting that). Instead, it focuses on the relationships and bank robberies of John Dillinger, which can be confusing at times. His men along with other characters come in and out of nowhere and the most meaningful relationship in here was with his gal, which was not focused on enough.

Vikings vs. Indians? How badass does that sound! Too bad the entire movie could not live up to this idea. I am no director, which makes this more insulting when I say that this movie was horribly directed.

I had no idea what was going on half of the time, especially in the battle sequences. There are so many other bad elements in this movie. I do not recommend this at all, even if you just want to see a action-packed popcorn movie.

There weren't any consequences for the main guy to do what he did via terrorist attacks against the terrorists themselves. First and far most, you would think that an old serial killer like this would be some maniac, foaming at the mouth. On the contrary, this guy graduated college as a Doctor, cleverly constructed his own small castle, and conned many people, financially. The things he did to his victims were horrendous and because of his expertise in the medical field, he was able to dispose his victim's corpse completely. He was convicted with 30-something murders but it was said that the body count exceeded way beyond that.
