For a documentary, this was shot very well and had an amazing story that is stranger than fiction. Movie stuff aside, I am now a fan of Sixto Rodriguez. He is a brilliant songwriter and musical poet that none of us in The States knew about.

It's a beautiful film but ultimately uneventful and I didn't get the excitement that Chicago had. The story is unimportant, the songs are not memorable, and now I see why I forgot about Nine.

My biggest complaint is the lazy ending, either I missed something too subliminal or it was just that – lazy.This isn’t for everyone. It works best for the art enthusiasts with a sense of a humor or the art enthusiasts that dislikes the modern art scene.

This film focused more on the smaller-scale stories of Woodstock rather than the main stage. Ang Lee did a great job to show you the audience's point of view on the scope of the festival and all the personalities in attendance. That part is good but the story carried too much dead weight and was only brought back to life with a dose of drugs.
