Regardless, I think it's a decent rental with or without a bong rip.

There is a hard truth about this story that other writers tend to ignore. Because of that, this depressing comedy will leave a bad taste in most people's mouths.

Charlize Theron does a fantastic job at playing an empty woman who is lost in her own, sad little world. Most people will hate her, while others will laugh at her. For those that laugh with her, you're all a bunch of sad sacks. Like me. Here's a toast to...to, toasting!

This one had a Blair Witch vibe to it and I was excited. For being a low budget horror, the production wasn't that bad. Where the movie fails is not giving the audience enough respect with a payoff. The movie's hook is about an entire town that disappeared, and we wanted to know why. The characters wanted to know why, too. Hell, that's why they went on this journey in the first place.

There were a few parts that made me laugh out loud and I don’t mean that in a good way. The developing relationships seemed rushed but have to be forgiving to that because there are so many characters. The most important relationship between Professor X and Magfassbender was the highlight of it all. This new reboot definitely outdoes the older ones.

Sidenote: Whoever decided to have the Nazi coin turn into the X-Men badge is a dumbhead.

It’s rare to thank Hollywood but here goes. Thank you Hollywood for not ruining our childhood dreams. We forgive you for not casting Arnold Schwarzenegger as Colossus because Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is really tubular. Why did you have Toad though? Nobody likes him and he wasn’t even in a video game. We would have been totally cool with Blob, which Rush Limbaugh could play. Anyway, thanks again for not being jerks.

It starts off great with the video game characters, the witty jokes, and all its nostalgic charm. After all that goes, we’re stuck in little kiddie land for the rest of the movie. It’s not a bad thing but these animated films are usually great for both adults and kids. This one felt like it was geared more towards the kids. The ironic thing is that the kids are too young to get all of the video game jokes. Still, I really, really enjoyed it.

This movie is extremely disturbing but effective because of how well it was directed and how good some of the performances were. This is a good horror flick but I would insist that most people should veer away from it, especially women.
