It is funny and there were some great moments but am I a jerk for expecting it to be way funnier? Surprisingly my stoner friends didn't find it that funny either. Regardless, I think it's a decent rental with or without a bong rip.

The movie's hook is about an entire town that disappeared, and we wanted to know why. The characters wanted to know why, too. Hell, that's why they went on this journey in the first place.

There were a few parts that made me laugh out loud and I don’t mean that in a good way. The developing relationships seemed rushed but have to be forgiving to that because there are so many characters. The most important relationship between Professor X and Magfassbender was the highlight of it all. This new reboot definitely outdoes the older ones.

Sidenote: Whoever decided to have the Nazi coin turn into the X-Men badge is a dumbhead.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

My mother insisted that Wolverine was a robot. After some figuring out, I realized that she had accidentally seen an early leak of the movie at her friend’s house. She saw an unfinished version where parts of Hugh Jackman were still in CG. I explained to my mom that brand new movies are not released on hand-written DVD’s. No more hanging out with bootleg friends, mom!

Every time I see Patrick Fugit, I start yawning, even if I have to don’t have to yawn. Just to let the person in charge of movie night know. After I managed to phase out Fugit, I found a whimsical movie on a dark subject matter that was enjoyable.

Wreck-It Ralph

It starts off great with the video game characters, the witty jokes, and all its nostalgic charm. After all that goes, we’re stuck in little kiddie land for the rest of the movie. It’s not a bad thing but these animated films are usually great for both adults and kids. This one felt like it was geared more towards the kids. The ironic thing is that the kids are too young to get all of the video game jokes. Still, I really, really enjoyed it.
