A sad waste on such a great cast. Everything looked the part but this lacked any tension. Instead of suspense, it’s replaced with gratuitous action and tacky one-liners. This is the director that brought you Zombieland, which is great but that type of vision won’t work for a movie like this and it shows.

This could have easily been your by-the-book sports comedy but there is one reason that sets it apart. I never thought I would say this but the sole reason is Seann William Scott. That reason comes with one simple question that Scott was able to answer without a doubt. “Can Seann embrace his meathead persona and play a dumb but lovable ogre?”

Yes, it's twisted and over-the-top but that's okay. This plays out as one sick filmmaker's revenge fantasy and it's done it in a morbidly funny way. I had a good laugh during moments that reminded me of Idiocracy. This isn't recommended if you're a casual comedy goer.

Going into this film, I was expecting a typical survival action thriller. To be fair, it is all those things, except typical. Sure, there are cheesy one-liners and guys being guys during a crisis but there's also more depth. The Grey has a poetic undertone of doing whatever it takes to survive or peacefully accepting death when there's no where else to go.

I really like the original Swedish movies. Really, they are awesome. So I mean no disrespect when I say that I like David Fincher's version more. His remake is not better by any means, I just think Fincher's seething dark style is perfect for the re-envisioning of this evil story.

I love Sci-fi, aliens, and all that nerdiness but man, this film is ridiculous. Movies like X-Men: First Class, Thor, or Iron Man, give nerds a better reputation. Green Lantern just reminds everyone how embarrassing being a nerd can be.

Like other superhero movies, you will have some fun with this. It's not boring at all, it's just very average. The only thing that was above average was Sinestro, played by Mark Strong.

Computer graphics overkill, extremely stylish costumes, ninjas, blood, people flying from rooftops; all that wouldn't be complete without a horrible story. I'm not expecting Shawshank Redemption when watching these types of films but c'mon, can the writers just try a little harder?

It's hilarious to see the hero fail at saving people from easy circumstances and then laying waste to 1000's of bad guys, literally. He single-handedly takes out three whole armies.

Who writes this stuff? 15-year old geeks that just discovered alcohol?

At least it didn't have an ending where the guy chases the girl and apologizes for screwing up, while in a public setting with all eyes on them. Here's the tagline for the movie, "Prepare to visit a town you'd never want to call home." You feel just as bored as the kids in it and the only thing the director did to rectify that was to make some weird, trippy scenes to change things up. That doesn't work. This is from the same guy who did Kids. That explains it.
