The most business-minded crime drama I have seen. The audience is going to be on the fence about this one as it’s not so much a wild shoot-em-up and it’s not as exciting as Goodfellas. I don’t love this film but I was definitely taken by it and that stayed with me for a while.

One of the most dark-humored, crime flicks ever made. Matthew McConaughey puts on a violently good performance but Juno Temple steals the show. The slogan on the poster is accurate and will be uncomfortable for a lot of people. If you do brave forward and decide to watch this, I strongly suggest you grab a bucket of fried chicken.

This film is so sick and violent. The first half is very slow, to a point where it's irritating. After watching things unfold, I kind of wished it stayed that way because the events that happen next are deeply disturbing.

The only thing that balances out Jason Statham being Jason Statham is Robert De Niro being Robert De Niro. Clive Owen, actually stood out the most for me. It's a high-octane action movie with a twist, so whatever expectations you have for this type of genre, you'll get exactly just that.

King of Chinatown

This is a small documentary about pro gaming. You know, kids that play video games "professionally." The film follows one of America's competitive gaming champions, Justin Wong. The film also shows what an ass this guy named "Triforce" is. I'm glad he ended up eating his own words about not ever working 9-5. Enjoy greeting customers at the door!

Oh man, this is bad, it's almost as bad as The Bounty Hunter with Gerald Butler and Jennifer Aniston. There are a lot of cringe-worthy scenes and cheesy one-liners. Here's a one-liner for you, "watch something else!"

This is based on a true story about a tough Irishman that came from nothing and became a mob boss. This film felt like two hours of a dick-swinging contest that borrowed from every other successful crime film. I saw a lot of Goodfellas in here. This didn't work as a serious and deep crime flick.

This is one my least favorite movies. First off, look at the title. Secondly, it's about a bunch of tough guys in trouble. Pretty straight forward, right? The problem is that everyone acts so unbelievably weak and fake. Lamest tough guy act I've ever seen.

Krull is just weird and its fantastical, low-fi atmosphere made it even more so. It's a great classic flick that many people have forgotten. All you need to do is show someone a picture of that tricked-out ninja star and watch their eyes light up.
